ROM cartridges are the oldest way to store video games and exponentially increase their library. They originated in the Channel F, where the games are in 27 cartridges called "Videocarts", in 1 videocart could fit up to 2 videogames, then in 1977, Atari had released his new-gen console, the Atari 2600 with cartridges.
